1. The foot is MUCH better than the YN600EX-RT (YN). It's much more secure.
2. The case is perfect. The YN one was too small. The Velcro barely caught.
3. Wireless OPTICAL works. The YN would NOT function in A:B or A+B (it worked in Commander mode ONLY).
4. The YN had a shadow in the bottom 1/4 of all my images at portrait distance and closer. I'm thinking now that the zoom wasn't working at all or was off.
5. The YN firmware update process was totally broken. We'll have to wait to see how Shanny does theirs (the add-on radio receiver has a USB port for updates).
6. The YN would not turn off after I attached it to my 60D's hot shoe. Clearly my unit was defective--which is why I sent it back.

OK, this flash does NOT have radio "built-in". You MUST use the add-on radio receiver module (due early 2015) which I prefer. If the radio dies, you don't lose the entire FLASH: you can easily replace the receiver.
